SACRAMENTO, CA –The Sacramento Kings welcome back a familiar face tonight as Jaime Coffee will serve as the public address announcer for tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Coffee will fill in for longtime announcer Scott Moak, who is missing his first game in 12 years due to illness. Coffee is believed to be the first female public address announcer in NBA history.

“This opportunity to announce an NBA game is a dream come true for me,” Coffee said. “To have the chance to fill in for a great announcer like Scott Moak and work in front of the best fans in the NBA is just incredible.”

Coffee is a staple in Sacramento having served as public address announcer for the Sacramento Monarchs from 2001-2009. In addition to announcing Sacramento State basketball games, she is preparing to work her third consecutive Pac 12 tournament in the same capacity.

“We will miss Scott tonight but are thrilled to welcome Jaime back to center court,” said Kings President Chris Granger. “As the longtime voice of our beloved Monarchs, Jaime will no doubt excite the crowd while also keeping us well informed.  She is family, she is talented, and she may in fact be the first female public address announcer in NBA history.  She also called the championship-clinching game for the Monarchs, so we know she will bring a winning spirit as well!”

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento Kings announced single game tickets for the "Top-10" most sought after games will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Oct. 10. The featured tagline for the day is "Top 10. 10/10. 10am." Fans can buy tickets to all 44 pre-season and regular season games by clicking here, calling Ticketmaster or by visiting the Sleep Train Arena box office.

"It's going to be a memorable season. Everyone knows full season ticket sales have been strong all summer, and we expect more of the same when we release the top games for individual sale," said Sacramento Kings President and Chief Operating Officer Chris Granger. "We encourage people to buy early, secure their seats, and not be on the wrong side of a sold-out game."

The Top-10 games, which include special themes and fan giveaways, feature the highly anticipated home opener versus the Denver Nuggets, two November games against the Los Angeles Clippers, two clashes against I-80 rivals, the Golden State Warriors, one showdown with Western Conference foe Oklahoma City Thunder, a holiday matchup with the reigning NBA Champions, Miami Heat, two contests versus the Los Angeles Lakers, and a nationally televised game on ESPN versus the Detroit Pistons.

"We've had some fun with ESPN's recent ranking of the Kings," said Granger. "We said then, and we'll say now, 'The Best Fans Await You.' We can't wait for the loudest, most passionate fans in the NBA to show ESPN, and the world, what Sacramento basketball is all about."

On Oct. 16, Kings players, Luc Mbah a Moute and Carl Landry, and Kings coaches, Corliss Williamson and Micah Nori, will man the phones in the ticket office starting at 1 p.m. Fans can call 888-91-KINGS for a chance to talk with them about the upcoming season.

SACRAMENTO – The Sacramento Kings announced today that local ABC affiliate News10 will once again join the team as a broadcast partner for the 2013-14 season, carrying 11 over-the-air Kings telecasts.

Returning for a third time after partnering with the Kings in 2006-07 and 2012-13, News10 will begin coverage this season with a commercially uninterrupted broadcast of the “Long Live the Kings” Home Opener on Oct. 30 versus the Denver Nuggets.

“No one was more excited than we were about the decision to keep the Kings in Sacramento," News10 General Manager Maria Barrs said. “This is a pivotal year, and a commercial-free opening game is a great chance for fans to tune-in and rediscover why Kings basketball is so exciting and so important to this community."

Comcast SportsNet California will broadcast 70 Kings regular-season games. Sacramento also appears once on ESPN for a nationally-televised matchup with Detroit on Nov. 15 from Sleep Train Arena.

Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the Kings box office, logging on to Kings.com/tickets, or by calling 888-91-KINGS to speak with a ticket sales representative.

Typically not released until October, early availability of individual-game tickets for 34 games allows fans an opportunity to witness the new-look Kings in marquee matchups against many of the league’s brightest young stars and championship-caliber teams. The on sale includes more than 25,000 value-priced seats starting at just $10 each.

Thanks to strong support from the Kings fan base spurring a robust and consistently enthusiastic demand for full season tickets, Sacramento continues to rank No. 1 in the NBA in new season ticket sales. As a result of this unprecedented interest, supply of individual game tickets in certain locations will be very limited. Fans looking to secure any of these 34 games and the additional top-10 contests slated for release on Oct. 10 are encouraged to place a $150 deposit for a newly-released partial season plan.

Tuesday’s early release of 34 regular season games offers fans a chance to see DeMarcus Cousins, Isaiah Thomas and all their returning favorites together for the first time with offseason acquisitions Greivis Vasquez, Luc Mbah a Moute and Carl Landry. SACRAMENTO, CA ---- The Sacramento Kings will begin the 2013-14 regular season with a Blackout Home Opener when they play host to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, Oct. 30, marking just the second instance in the last 10 seasons in which the Kings will commence a season in Sacramento. The team's schedule features eight of the first 10 contests at Sleep Train Arena, including outings versus the L.A. Clippers (Friday, Nov. 1), Atlanta Hawks (Tuesday, Nov. 5) and Brooklyn Nets (Wednesday, Nov. 13).

Sacramento will be featured on national TV six times during the 2013-14 campaign, including an ESPN broadcast originating from Sleep Train Arena when the Kings take on the Detroit Pistons on Friday, Nov. 15. The team also makes five appearances on NBA TV, highlighted by three outings from Sleep Train Arena, including a contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, Jan. 12 and a pair of tilts versus the New Orleans Hornets on Monday, Dec. 23 and again on Monday, March 3. Sacramento also plays to a national audience on the road when they battle the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, Nov. 8 from the Rose Garden and at Madison Square Garden versus the New York Knicks on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

In addition to the abovementioned contests during Sacramento's opening home stand, notable teams making early-season appearances at Sleep Train Arena include the Golden State Warriors (Sunday, Dec. 1), Oklahoma City Thunder (Tuesday, Dec. 3), Los Angeles Lakers (Friday, Dec. 6) and Houston Rockets (Sunday, Dec. 15).

April 16 marks Fan Appreciation Night at Sleep Train Arena as the Kings welcome the Phoenix Suns to Sacramento for the pair's regular season finale.

Sacramento defeated the Golden State Warriors 94-92 in last year's season opener at Sleep Train Arena—marking the seventh consecutive win in a home opener dating back to the 2006-07 campaign.

Sacramento took an 93-87 loss to the Chicago Bulls in last year's road/season opener at the United Center on Halloween night.

The Kings have played Denver in the season opener just once during the Sacramento-era, when Wayman Tisdale (21 points) and Lionel Simmons (16 points, 10 rebounds) helped defeat the Nuggets 109-100 on Nov. 5, 1993.

Lakers on Thursday, Oct. 10 in Las Vegas at MGM Grand Garden Arena (7 p.m. PDT).

Sacramento returns to Sleep Train Arena for a pair of preseason games, beginning with the team's 2013 home debut on Monday, Oct. 14 versus the L.A. Clippers and a matchup with the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, Oct. 17.

The Kings seven-game slate includes road contests against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, Oct. 20 and the preseason finale at the L.A. Clippers on Friday, Oct. 25. Sandwiched between away contests, the team will square off against Golden State on Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the last home game of the exhibition schedule.
