
Kings Hold Mini-Camp Prior to 2015 NBA Summer League
SACRAMENTO, CA -- The Sacramento Kings will hold a mini-camp July 7-9 in Sacramento before leaving for Las Vegas to compete in the 2015 Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas from July 10-20 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The 2014 Samsung NBA Summer League champions, Sacramento will play at least five games, beginning with its first contest on Friday, July 10, against the Toronto Raptors at 3:30 p.m. PT at the Thomas & Mack Center. Last year, the Kings defeated the Houston Rockets in the Championship Game, finishing with a 6-1 record.
This summer’s event will again feature the tournament-style format first debuted in 2013 that will crown the Samsung NBA Summer League Champion on Monday, July 20. The 24 teams – 23 NBA teams and one NBA Development League Select team – will compete in three preliminary round games from July 10-14 before being seeded in a tournament running through the Championship Game on July 20. Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games.
