Capitalize: Tech

The Sacramento Kings Capitalize startup competition is back for the ninth year and will continue to identify and showcase local entrepreneurs.  In addition to the unique opportunity to be affiliated with the Kings global brand, contestants will receive pitch coaching, participate in workshops, and present to investors, executives and the community. Previous judges have included Bow Capital, Moneta Ventures, Black Star Fund, Scale Venture Partners, and Growth Factory. 

During the VIP Pitch Day on March 27, four finalists will be selected to advance to Tech Night at Golden 1 Center on April 11 where they will be featured in game during New Orleans Pelicans vs. Sacramento Kings game and compete for fan and judge votes to win cash and in-kind prizes awarded on center court.

February 22 at 12 PM – Eight Semifinalists Announced
March 27 – Pitch Day at Golden 1 Center Selection of Top Four Companies
April 1 – Fan Voting Opens
April 11 – Winner Announced at halftime of the Sacramento Kings vs. New Orleans Pelicans game
