Rudy Warms up in Oakland

Rudy Gay went down with an Achilles injury just over two months ago. After undergoing surgery on January 27, No. 8 has been rehabbing diligently in hopes to return stronger than ever prior to next season.

Before Friday's contest against the Golden State Warriors, Rudy was filmed participating in pregame shootaround.

Seeing Gay on the court is a welcome sign less than eight weeks post surgery. Doctors typically project recovery time for Achilles injuries from eight to nine months. It was an encouraging development for Kings fans hoping to see a big return year from the talented veteran forward in 2017-18.
