Fox: 'I Feel Like We're Playing the Right Way'

"We got a good group," head coach Luke Walton said after the team's 113-92 win in New York.

"When they play loose, they're a lot of fun to coach, they're a lot of fun to watch. We can score the ball."

After two consecutive wins, the Kings are finding a rhythm as their first multi-game road trip of the season begins.

Sactown defeated the Utah Jazz in a thriller at Golden 1 Center on Friday, following that matchup up with a 21-point victory over the Knicks in the Big Apple.

"He's special," Buddy Hield said while describing De'Aaron Fox.

"He plays better when he's pissed off," Hield continued while sharing a laugh with Fox. "Don't piss him the f*** off or he'll dunk on you!"

It comes as no surprise that Fox finished off the win in style, throwing down a highlight-reel windmill dunk to ice the game.

"Obviously, it's still early in the season, but I feel like we're playing the right way," said No. 5.

"Defensively, we've been a lot better. The Denver game, we were good defensively, they just executed down the stretch. After that, I just think we've been playing good basketball."

In the past two contests, the starting backccourt has combined for an average of 44.5 points per game, fueling the squad's offensive output.

However, it's the squad's team effort that has propelled them on both ends, getting contributions from newcomers Richaun Holmes, Trevor Ariza and Dewayne Dedmon, along with returning players such as Harrison Barnes, Nemanja Bjelica and Bogdan Bogdanovic.

The squad continues their three-game trip in Toronto on Wednesday, with the final game coming on Friday against Atlanta.
