Collison Receives Sixth Man of the Year Vote

Although Jamal Crawford of the Los Angeles Clippers won the award for the third time, Kings guard Darren Collison made the list of candidates for Sixth Man of the Year by receiving a second-place vote.

Darren, who averaged 14 points, 4.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game off of the bench averaged just 0.2 points per game fewer than Crawford, while tallying two more assists and 0.5 more rebounds per game.

It was the second-best scoring season for No. 7, who was out-paced only by his previous season's career-high scoring output, in which he recorded 16.1 points per game as a starter.

Others receiving votes from the panel of sportswriters were: Andre Iguodala, Enes Kanter, Will Barton, Evan Turner, Ryan Anderson, Jeremy Lin, Ed Davis, Dennis Schroder, Tristan Thompson, Shuan Livingston, J.J. Barea, Boris Diaw, Zach LaVine, Allen Crabbe, Jrue Holiday, Patrick Patterson and Mirza Teletovic.
