Sacramento Kings great and TNT Analyst Chris Webber echoed that sentiment on Sunday night on Twitter, while also giving a shout-out to some of his former teammates:
Although Webber and his former teammates Doug Christie, Mike Bibby, Bobby Jackson and Gerald Wallace were unable to reach the ultimate goal of an NBA Championship during their tenure with the Kings, the era remains a beloved and cherished time for the members of that squad.
