The Atlanta Hawks have signed Paul Watson to a 10-day contract, it was announced today.

The 6’6” forward has started all 13 games this season for the Raptors 905 of the NBA G League, averaging 18.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 34.3 minutes (.533 FG%, .467 3FG%, .706 FT%). He spent the previous two seasons in the G League with the Westchester Knicks, who selected him in the first round (fifth overall) of the 2017 G League Draft.

Watson played four years at Fresno State, where as a senior in 2016-17, he compiled 11.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 32.3 minutes (.414 FG%, .341 3FG%, .679 FT%).

The native of Phoenix, AZ led Paradise Valley High School to the state championship his senior year. He will wear jersey No. 2.

ATLANTA -– The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has assigned Tyler Cavanaugh and Isaiah Taylor to the Erie BayHawks, the team’s G League affiliate, it was announced today.

Cavanaugh, in 30 games with the Hawks (one start), is putting up 5.0 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.8 minutes (.474 FG%, .366 3FG%, .765 FT%). He has started three games with Erie, averaging 19.3 points and 12.7 rebounds in 35.9 minutes (.522 FG%, .381 3FG%, 2-2 FTs).

Taylor has appeared in 36 Hawks games, and has averaged 4.6 points, 2.2 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 14.3 minutes. In two starts with the BayHawks, he’s compiled 25.5 points, 11.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 38.2 minutes (.477 FG%, .500 3FG%, .714 FT%).

ATLANTA -– The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has recalled guard/forward Nicolas Brussino from the Erie BayHawks, the team’s G League affiliate, it was announced today.

Brussino has appeared in four games with the Hawks this season. In eight contests with the BayHawks, he is averaging 9.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals in 23.4 minutes (.467 FG%, .367 3FG%, 8-8 FTs).

ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club announced today that Josh Magette has been transferred from the Erie BayHawks of the NBA G League back to the Hawks, as part of his two-way contract.

Magette, who was transferred to Erie on October 30, has started eight games with the BayHawks, averaging 17.4 points, a league-leading 11.1 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 35.9 minutes. He’s also appeared in five games with the Hawks.
