The Bert Show and Atlanta Hawks Team Up To Surprise Bert's Big Adventure Child

ATLANTA -- The Bert Show provides a young Atlanta Hawks fan the surprise of a lifetime. The FOX Sports Fan Express transported eight-year-old Lake Bozman of Kennesaw, Georgia and family to The Bert Show studios on Monday, April 6th to be presented with a unique opportunity: to become a part of the Atlanta Hawks team for a day.

The VIP experience provided by the Atlanta Hawks will take place on Tuesday, April 7th and include private transportation service to Philips Arena by Cooper Global, one-day contract to be an official member of the team signed by Head Coach Mike Budenholzer, presentation of custom jersey, attendance at official team warm-up, a tour of the locker room, and court-side seats as the Atlanta Hawks take on the Phoenix Suns at Philips Arena.

Lake Bozman was chosen to be one of 14 participants in this year’s annual trip to Walt Disney World as part of Bert’s Big Adventure. Bert’s Big Adventure is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. Suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Lake was unable to attend the 2015 trip, however, his mom Anna, dad Travis, brother Trindon and sister Cambree will all be a part of the Atlanta Hawks experience, joining him for all the afternoon’s festivities.
