ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Hawks have recalled guard John Jenkins from the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.
In 11 D-League games this season (with Fort Wayne and Idaho), Jenkins is averaging 18.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 28.4 minutes (.533 FG%, .396 3FG%, .971 FT%). In Monday’s game at the D-League Showcase vs. the Mad Ants, Jenkins finished with a game-high 28 points (10-14 FGs, 4-6 3FGs, 4-4 FTs) along with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 34 minutes.
