WASHINGTON, D.C. – Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole and local artist/designer Chris Pyrate have teamed up to create a limited-edition work jacket.
When designing the jacket, Poole’s inspiration stemmed from his comfy and chill off-court style. The collaboration merges the lines between fashion, art, and sport featuring Pyrate’s iconic flower pattern subtly printed monochromatically over the cotton twill navy jacket.
Poole also integrated Wizards elements throughout the jacket to recognize the franchise. Pyrate’s signature Wizard character is embroidered on the back near the collar area of the jacket and the word “district,” written in a red cursive writing, is included in the nametag patch on the front left of the jacket to recognize the team’s fans. The unique piece also includes a zippered pocket on the front right of the jacket and a distressed hem on the sleeves.
Limited quantities of this one-of-a-kind jacket are available for purchase exclusively at the Team Store at Capital One Arena for $149.99. The Team Store is open Tuesday-Saturday 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and 2 hours before events on Sundays and Mondays.
In addition, the Wizards and Pyrate unveiled their second capsule collection, which includes a grey Wizards hoodie displaying his signature flower motif along with a t-shirt and beanie featuring Pyrate’s Wizard character with a basketball.
