The Phoenix Suns will host a night full of Latin flavor when team hosts Hornitos® Fiesta Night against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, Dec. 9 at Talking Stick Resort Arena at 7 p.m. As a part of the Fiesta Night celebration, the Suns will don their new Los Suns Noche City Edition uniforms for the first time and the first 5,000 fans ages 21 and older in attendance will receive a special-edition Suns basketball ice mold, courtesy of Hornitos® Tequila. Fans can enjoy a pregame fiesta on the Fry’s Plaza beginning at 5:30 p.m. featuring a wide variety of activities for all fans, including Latin food samplings of churros, aguas frescas and more plus live performances from local reggaeton artist Alex G and DJ Yazmina. The national anthem will be performed by Phoenix Suns in-arena host Alicia Blanco and halftime entertainment will feature a dynamic performance set to Latin hits by Gilbert-based dance group ELEKTRO XD, part of the ElektroLytes Dance Crew that won the seventh season of “America's Best Dance Crew” in 2012.
In celebration of Hornitos® Fiesta Night, The Gorilla and Suns entertainers will sport Los Suns apparel throughout the game and the Suns Team Shop will offer an exclusive Suns Sugar Skull t-shirt as the night’s “Item of the Game” for $15. Additionally, fans 21 and older can enjoy spirit samples at the Hornitos® Taco Stand near section 121 on the main concourse at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
In advance of Monday’s game, fans can join the Phoenix Suns entertainment team and Latin DJ Fuego at the all-new Los Suns mural located on the east side of Carly’s Bistro (128 E. Roosevelt on the NW corner of East Roosevelt and North Second Streets), right in the heart of the nationally-renowned Roosevelt Row Arts District in downtown Phoenix for the First Friday culture walk beginning at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged snap a photo of the mural and tag @LosSuns on Instagram or Twitter for the opportunity to win exclusive Suns merchandise, tickets and Los Suns apparel.
