Postgame Quotes - April 4, 2014

"Brooklyn posted a few guys against us when they had a size advantages. We weren't physical enough defending it. We didn't make them make multiple passes for their buckets. They made one, maybe two for their buckets and they have too good of players to do that."

(On the comeback attempt): "We just got to do it for 48 minutes now. That's pretty much been the story for the whole year, coming out and competing for 48 minutes. The last group that was in there, we fought. We were sharing the ball so we did a good job."

(On playing the Celtics tomorrow): "I think we need to come out and play with each other, just compete for 48 minutes. Hopefully we can come out and get the victory."

(On getting into the game): "It felt really good, to get out there and play. It felt really good."

(On settling in and playing in the second half): "Definitely felt a lot more comfortable. I just wanted to go out there and play hard, just bring some energy. Try to bring their spirits up. We did a good job of coming back and not getting beat by 20 or 30. We tried to make it a game. At one point we had it. They just knocked down shots today."

(On Jason Collins' performance off the bench): " 'Twin' was great. I guess you said it--the bench was good tonight. 'Twin' had a flashback to 2001, so he was good. Again, being able to rebound, keep guys off the boards and help defensively, but then offensively he got a couple put-backs that were big for us."

(On the Nets' three-point percentage): "The one thing that leads to threes is everyone being unselfish. It doesn't matter if it's (Andray) Blatche, D-Will, if it's Joe (Johnson) -- guys are posting up, and they're finding their teammates. When you're unselfish like that, you get the looks that we're getting from behind the three. It's fun to watch."

(On the team's shooting at home): "We're just comfortable in our own building. Obviously, that's where most teams in the league play well. You have momentum, you have your own crowd, you have a better feel for spots on the court and this is where you're comfortable."

(On the Nets' bench): "They've been great all year, for the most part. They have their days, but they've been great. They've taken a lot of pressure off the starters when we don't start off well as you saw today. We didn't really get off to a great start, but they came in during the second quarter and boosted the lead which made it easier on us when we came out in the third quarter and we need that from them. That's big."
