The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that forward Nikola Mirotić suffered a right calf strain in the fourth quarter of last night’s game against the Detroit Pistons. An MRI taken today confirmed the initial diagnosis and examination by Pelicans Director of Medical Services/Head Team Physician Dr. Misty Suri.
Mirotić will be re-evaluated in one week. Further updates will be announced upon the re-evaluation.
