The Pelicans rookie has backed out of attending the USA Basketball training camp in Las Vegas next month, where he would have been able to compete alongside NBA stars for a spot on the Team USA roster in this year’s FIBA World Cup, according to a report from The Athletic. A league source confirmed the report.
