One scheduling impact of the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament has seen New Orleans play several Western Conference opponents multiple times already early in 2023-24, including three matchups against Sacramento. Although Minnesota was not in the same West group as New Orleans in the event either, that’s also the case for Pelicans-Timberwolves. The clubs will meet for a third time in just over a month Monday, when Minnesota pays a visit to the Crescent City, trying to clinch the season series.
New Orleans’ injury list remains unchanged from recent games. Larry Nance Jr. (right rib fracture) and Matt Ryan (right elbow strain) were out on Sunday’s report.
