New Orleans Pelicans Color Analyst

Antonio Daniels enters his fourth season on the New Orleans Pelicans broadcast crew as a color analyst. Daniels, who played in 61 games with the New Orleans Hornets in 2008-09, joined the Bally Sports New Orleans broadcast team after serving as a studio analyst for Bally Sports Oklahoma and Bally Sports Southwest from 2015-19.

Selected by the Vancouver Grizzlies with the fourth overall pick in the 1997 NBA Draft, Daniels played 14 seasons in the NBA from 1997-2011. He won an NBA championship in 1999 as a member of the San Antonio Spurs and also played for the Portland Trail Blazers, Seattle SuperSonics, Washington Wizards, New Orleans Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers. During his career, the 6’4’’ guard averaged career numbers of 7.6 points, 3.4 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 872 regular season games. Daniels also appeared in 80 Playoff contests, averaging 13.4 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.2 rebounds.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Daniels played collegiately at Bowling Green State University where he was the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year in 1997. Following his playing career, Daniels has worked as an analyst on SiriusXM NBA Radio as well as a broadcaster and co-host for a radio sports talk show on KZDC ESPN San Antonio, where he was named the 2015 San Antonio Magazine Radio Personality of the Year.
