On Friday, the Nuggets will return to Boston for the first time since their playoff-clinching victory over the Celtics on March 18th. After missing out on postseason action for five consecutive years, the victory was extremely rewarding for Denver, who were in control throughout nearly the entire game.

The Nuggets had seven players in double-figures in that March contest against Boston and shot 14 of 39 from beyond the arc. A 51-37 advantage on the boards and 29 assists also helped Denver secure the 114-105 victory.

"It's a great feeling," Nuggets head coach Michael Malone said following the win. "Four years in the making. Two years in a row coming up just shy, one game short. Using that as a motivation for tonight's moment."

The playoff-clinching victory was Denver’s 47th of the 2018-19 season, as the Nuggets would go on to win 54 on the year and advance to the Western Conference semifinals. Although Friday’s game against Boston will only be the 20th game of the season, the Nuggets will be looking for a statement win on the road.
