Big Gigantic to Headline First Denver Nuggets Skyline Night

DENVER—The Denver Nuggets in partnership with Live Nation, are excited to announce that Big Gigantic will headline the first of seven Skyline Nights when the Nuggets take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, Dec. 3. A pillar in the Denver community with Colorado roots, Big Gigantic is a natural choice to kickoff the neighborhood-based platform.

Big Gigantic established itself as a pioneer of live electronic music with the band's inception in
2008. The Colorado-based saxophonist/producer, Dominic Lalli and drummer, Jeremy Salken, are veterans of blending electronic dance music with their live instruments to create Big G's truly unique sound; a sound that is as thoughtful as it is danceable. Big Gigantic mixes musically mature melodies with addictive beats and samples, that are familiar to a Kanye West or LCD Soundsystem and crosses all styles of music from jazz to hip hop, funk to dubstep.

Their fifth most recent studio album, Brighter Future, reflects Lalli and Salken’s vision for uniting
the world through music and community. The band has had numerous collaborations over the past few years with renowned and respected artists across genres including rap sensations Logic, and Waka Flocka. GRIZ Snails, Louis The Child, an official remix for Foster The People, and the most recent track “Like That” with NGHTMRE.

The band is back in the studio working on their next album to be released in early 2020 and have already released three singles this year. Big Gigantic’s impact stretches much farther than their music. After donating over 100 thousand dollars in school supplies, food for those in need, building music studios for the youth to have state of the art equipment to learn on plus many other projects to those that could use help in various ways through their #ABigGiganticDifference initiative, Lalli and Salken have taken their give-back mission to the next level. In Fall of 2016, the duo founded the nonprofit A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation with the mission to spread positivity and enact change alongside their fans and community through #ABDG events, fundraising initiatives, and donations from ticket sales.

Skyline nights are a celebration of Denver, focusing on the unique neighborhoods that make up the fabric of the city. The seven Skyline nights will be activated in conjunction with the nights the team wears the recently released 2019-20 City Edition jersey. Western Union is the proud presenting sponsor of all Skyline nights. Dates include:
