Report: Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. suffers torn meniscus in right knee
From NBA media reports
Phoenix Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. has been diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his right knee, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
The 24-year-old swingman will seek a second opinion from a specialist, Haynes adds.
Oubre Jr. did not play in Wednesday’s loss against the LA Clippers. No timetable for his return has been made available.
Oubre Jr. signed a two-year deal with Phoenix last summer and became a fan favorite in the valley. He’s averaging career highs with 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds through 56 games this season.
He missed the final weeks of the 2018-19 season with left thumb surgery.
