Jazz trade No. 23 pick in 2020 Draft to Knicks

Utah also sends rights to Ante Tomic to the Knicks for the No. 27 and 38 picks in the 2020 NBA Draft.

 

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has acquired the 27th and 38th overall picks in the 2020 NBA Draft from the New York Knicks in exchange for the 23rd overall pick and the rights to Ante Tomić.

Tomić, 33, was originally selected 44th overall (second round) in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Jazz. He has played his entire career overseas, most recently signing with Jovenut (Spain) after playing for FC Barcelona (2012-20), Real Madrid (2010-12) and Zagreb (2004-10). He has won four Spanish Cups (2012, 2013, 2018, 2019) and one Liga ACB title (2014).
