ATLANTA -- After seeing multiple specialists to determine the best course of treatment for his right hip pain, Tiago Splitter has elected to have surgery to repair his right hip. Splitter will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season, including the 2016 NBA Playoffs.
The timing of the procedure is being finalized and his status will be updated once complete.
