Elite Dancers Invited to Participate in Team’s Virtual Open Call; Register Now at Hawks.com/Entertainment
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Hawks today announced that they will hold open auditions for the ATL Dancers, a group of elite dancers and community ambassadors in the Hawks Entertainment umbrella. The ATL Dancers are looking to comprise a team of 18 to 20 skilled dancers who can perform complex routines and effectively contribute to the overall game experience.
The first round of auditions is a virtual open call, which is now open and set to close on Sunday, June 25 at 9:00 p.m. ET. After the first round and second round, there will be two additional rounds of auditions that will take place in person.
“We look forward to the elite competition at our ATL Dancers’ auditions this summer,” said Hawks Sr. Director of Entertainment Donni Frazer. “As we look ahead to next season, we are eager to find a diverse group of dancers focused on enhancing the overall experience for our fans both on the court and in the community.”
To become a member, participants must be 19 years of age or older as well as have a current part-time or full-time job elsewhere. College and professional students are also encouraged to audition. Additionally, participants must be able to attend rehearsals at least two days a week during the Hawks’ season.
Hawks Entertainment adds to the overall experience during Hawks’ games at the award-winning State Farm Arena and serves as a brand ambassador throughout the city of Atlanta. Last season, the ATL Dancers were comprised of 17 women and three men. The Hawks Entertainment umbrella also consists of ATL Hawks Dancers, ATL BOOM, ATL Stunt Team, 404 Crew, The A-Team, Delta Sky Squad and Harry the Hawk.
