thumbnail-image: Paul Millsap. The game in Denver is a homecoming for Millsap. Even though he was born in Louisiana and played high school and college ball there, he spent a great deal of his childhood in the Mile High City. Last season, in only his 6th game as a Hawk, Millsap tallied 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.
thumbnail-image: The Nuggets going small. On Monday, with center Josef Nurkic nursing an ankle injury, Denver went to a super-small front line of Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, and Kenneth Faried -- with the 6'8" Faried playing the center spot. That lineup may be good enough to compete with Atlanta on the glass, but at the same time, the Hawks should do a good bit of scoring at the rim.
thumbnail-image: Pace. With the Nuggets playing small, an already fast team made itself even faster. The Hawks would be wise to follow one of Coach Budenholzer's preferred tactics: ceding the offensive glass in favor of transition defense -- especially If you believe in the effect of playing at the higher altitude of the Pepsi Center.
thumbnail-image: Dennis Schröder. If the Nuggets want to play small and fast, guess who would be the Hawks' perfect countermove? It just so happens that Atlanta's most dynamic bench player also happens to be a 6'1" whirlwind who is averaging 15 points and 8 assists per game in his past five games.
thumbnail-image: Jeff Teague playing with Dennis Schröder. These two have started playing together enough lately to officially call it a 'thing'. In 130 minutes of action, this duo has been part of stifling defenses that have only allowed 93.8 points per 100 possessions.
thumbnail-image: Kyle Korver and the record books. Korver (1692 made 3-pt. FG) passed Steve Nash (1685) on the all-time three-pointers made list last week, and with two more threes, he will tie Kobe Bryant (1694) for 12th place in NBA history. He has also connected on 8 of his last 11 three-point shots.
