Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies today announced the team selected wing Vince Williams Jr. with the No. 47 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Williams Jr. (6-6, 205) was selected to the All-Atlantic 10 First Team after averaging 14.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.60 steals and 1.07 blocks in 32.5 minutes while shooting 47.7% from the field and 38.7% from 3-point range in his senior year at VCU.
The 21-year-old Toledo, Ohio, native averaged at least one steal per game in all four seasons with the Rams and shot 41.3% from 3-point range as a junior, which ranked fifth in the conference.
