Grizzlies sign Dejon Jarreau to 10-day contract

The Memphis Grizzlies today announced the team signed guard DeJon Jarreau to a 10-day contract as a Call-Up from the NBA G League’s Memphis Hustle. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jarreau (6-5, 185) has appeared in 24 games (18 starts) for the Hustle during the NBA G League regular season and has averaged 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 29.7 minutes since he was acquired from the Capital City Go-Go via trade on Dec. 26. He has posted 11 double-doubles (tied for seventh in the NBA G League) and a franchise-record four triple-doubles (second) for the Hustle during the regular season.

The 26-year-old New Orleans native went unselected in the 2021 NBA Draft following his senior year at Houston, where he was named the 2020-21 AAC Defensive Player of the Year. He made one NBA appearance for the Indiana Pacers during the 2021-22 season and has played a total of 65 NBA G League showcase and regular season games for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Texas Legends, Go-Go and Hustle.
