In the 2022 draft, the Trail Blazers selected Shaedon Sharpe 7th overall out of Kentucky. In his rookie season last year, Sharpe averaged 9.9 ppg shooting 47.2% from the field. He led all NBA rookies in scoring average during April, when he scored 22.8 points per game to go with 6.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists over 4 games.
