Trail Blazers Vice President of Basketball Communications Rahsaan Gethers begins his second season with the organization in 2023-24. Gethers leads the team’s basketball communications strategy and is the primary media contact for all basketball-related matters. He facilitates interviews, appearances and media events while also overseeing day-to-day and game night media operations. Gethers joined the Trail Blazers in 2022-23 after spending nine seasons with the Sacramento Kings organization, most recently serving as Director of Media Relations. Prior to his time with the Kings, Gethers started his NBA career as an intern with the Denver Nuggets during the 2012-13 season. A native of Aurora, Colorado, Gethers is a 2008 graduate of the University of Arizona. He resides in Southwest Portland.
