Dorell Wright Plays Love Interest In Sevyn Streeter 'It Won't Stop' Video

Last week, Erik Gundersen over at The Columbian unearthed the behind-she-scenes video of Dorell Wright's acting debut in the Sevyn Streeter "It Won't Stop" video featuring Chris Brown (yes, THAT Chris Brown). On Thursday, the actual music video video premiered on BET's 106th & Park, which, as far as I can tell, is one of the few cable stations that still plays music videos. Wright plays the role of Streeter's love interest, picking the singer up in a white Jeep (the 21st century equivalent of a white stallion) and enjoying all the trappings of a lover's walk on the beach.

Wright does a fine job with the role and continues the tradition of Portland Trail Blazers playing strong leading men, the previous example, being LaMarcus Aldridge's Emmy-worthy guest appearance on "Portlandia". The experience was one Wright said he'd be interested in repeating, with Streeter as well as other popular female artists.

"I thought that song was great," said Wright. "I'm a fan of Sevyn and Chris Brown and when they reached out, I had to think about it because I've been asked before, but I just don't think the situation has always been right. That worked out perfect. I would love to continue to be her lead man in different videos or whoever else. Beyonce, Nikki Minaj, Rihanna, whoever call me. It was a good experience to open up another door for myself."
