4 NBA things to know for Oct. 24

Get up to speed on the latest NBA news, plus a quick look at stories we’ll be following closely today:

1. Remember the Warriors?: While seemingly every other team in the NBA is showing off their shiny, new additions, Golden State has been patiently waiting to do so. The five-time reigning Western Conference champions will showcase their stuff tonight as they host the LA Clippers (10:30 ET, TNT).

2. Hey, check out the new digs!: For the first time since 1971, Golden State has a new building to call home. The sparkling, shiny and state-of-the art Chase Center — which takes up four-plus city blocks in the Mission Bay area of San Francisco — makes its regular-season TV debut tonight.

3. A juicy showdown in Houston: Last season, Milwaukee wound up two wins shy of The Finals. The Rockets had similar Finals dreams, but lost in the West semis. Both squads changed things up over the summer and restart their respective Finals quests — and start their seasons — tonight (8 ET, TNT) in Houston.

4. Get a body on him, Hawks: Quick, name the player who has the third-most 20-20 games since 1988-89. If you said Andre Drummond, congrats. He was a beast last night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (32 points, 23 rebounds, four blocks) and can spoil another team’s opener against the Hawks tonight (7 ET, League Pass).
