Gattison Added as an Assistant

The Hawks have named Kenny Gattison as an assistant coach on Larry Drew's staff. Most recently an assistant coach with the New Orleans Hornets from 2003-09, Gattison has also spent time on the coaching staff of the New Jersey Nets (1996-98) and Old Dominion University (2001-03), his alma mater. Former Prep Star Returns Home

The Hawks announced on Monday afternoon that they have signed free agent Josh Powell. Powell, recently a two-time NBA Champion with the Lakers, is returning home to where he played as a prep at Riverdale High School.
