Wizards Unveil Promotional and Theme Night Schedule for 2023-24 Season

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Wizards have unveiled their promotional and theme night schedule in anticipation of the start of the 2023-24 NBA season presented by Capital One. Additional giveaways, in conjunction with the team’s City Edition jersey unveil, will be announced at a later date.

Themes and Giveaways 

To tip off the new season, all fans attending the home opener on Saturday, Oct. 28, against the Memphis Grizzlies will receive a 2023-24 Wizards schedule magnet and a ‘For The District’ rally towel. 

On select Wednesdays, fans will take home a Wizards-branded hat as part of the Player Hat Series, a series of hats designed by current Wizards players and alumni. The first night of the Player Hat Series will be on Dec. 27 when the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a hat designed by Tyus Jones. Hats in the series will also be designed by Deni Avdija (Jan. 24) and by alumnus Gilbert Arenas (Mar. 6). The first 10,000 fans attending the January 31st game will receive a lifestyle Deni Avdija bobblehead. 

The Wizards will also debut a DMV bobblehead series featuring Ben’s Chili Bowl’s Virginia Ali from Washington, D.C. (Jan. 15), tennis star Frances Tiafoe from Maryland (Feb. 10) and rapper Pusha T from Virginia (Mar. 17).

Additional giveaways this season will include a Wizards plush blanket (Dec. 26), reversible ‘swaggy buckets’ bucket hat featuring Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole (Dec. 31), G-Wiz plush toy (Jan. 21), Jordan Poole ‘Poole Party’ towel (Jan. 25), Wizards City Edition building block set (Feb. 25), ‘For the District’ belt bag (Mar. 8) and a Wizards-branded gym bag (Mar. 23).

The first 10,000 fans in attendance on Feb. 2 will also be treated to a Jordan Poole City Edition bobblehead courtesy of MedStar Health when the Miami Heat come to Capital One Arena.

New Luxury Seating

Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) has developed a new premium guest experience for events at Capital One Arena, the Signature Club & Lounge, set to debut this fall. A sleek modern lounge at the corner of 7th Street and Gallery Place offers early entry and exclusive access to the space ahead of Washington Wizards games.

The new Signature Club & Lounge will have a limited number of memberships to maintain an exceptionally high-quality experience for guests. Members may take advantage of a dedicated point-of-entry to the Signature Club to enjoy the very best in hospitality and then travel directly across the concourse to the Signature Cocktail Lounge within a redesigned mega-suite before heading to their seats. Seats for each member have been hand-selected for guests to be closest to center court for 15 Wizards games.

The popular Wizards concert series will return for the eighth season and feature award-winning artists as well as local talent. Additional details will be announced in the coming weeks. 

To highlight the musical talent in the DMV, earlier this year, the Washington Wizards launched the Wizards DMV Music Portal. This new initiative on WashingtonWizards.com allows creators/producers/musicians to upload their music for consideration to be used in Washington Wizards broadcast spots, social videos, in-game videos, and team events.
