Prospect Profiles: Leaky Black, Adama Sanogo among six participants in Wizards June 9 workout

On Friday, June 9, the Washington Wizards hosted six more players for a pre-draft workout, including Leaky Black and Adama Sanogo. Here's everything you need to know!

TIMMY ALLEN
- Position: Forward
- Height: 6'6"
- Weight: 210 lbs
- College: Texas

Timmy Allen spent three years playing for Utah before making a big leap and transferring to the Big 12 to play for the Texas Longhorns. Known for his energy, rebounding, and scoring around the rim, Allen averaged 11.3 points on 49% shooting from the field to go along with six boards and 2.8 assists in his two seasons at Texas.

According to Leaky Black, who spoke with the media after the workout, Allen was the guy who brought the energy to Friday's workout.

"My boy Timmy Allen, that was my first time getting to meet him," said Black. "But he came in, set the tone, started talking a little bit, and that kind of got everybody going, so it really set the tone. Real fun day."

LEAKY BLACK
- Position: Forward
- Height: 6'9"
- Weight: 205 lbs
- College: North Carolina

In his five seasons at North Carolina, Leaky Black was never known as a guy who filled the scoring column. He made his biggest impact on the defensive end of the court, and that helped him carve out an important role for the Tar Heels in five-straight seasons. He currently holds the UNC record for most games played (155).

When a player is talented enough to spend five seasons at a school like North Carolina, they get to cross paths with a lot of NBA talent. Some of Black's notable UNC teammates include Coby White, Cam Johnson, Cole Anthony, and Walker Kessler.

When asked if he's been able to lean on his former teammates during this pre-draft process, Black said, "Yes. One that comes to mind is Coby White. He was my roommate back in freshman year. Coby, Nassir Little, and really Cam Johnson. I talk to Cam a lot. I only had one year with him as well, but Cam was like a big brother to me."
