Washington, D.C. (March 20, 2023) – Today, the Washington Wizards, in partnership with Nike and team retail partner Fanatics, announced the “D.C. Sports Cherry Blossom Headquarters” at Capital One Arena. The pop-up store will be open all day around four upcoming Wizards Cherry Blossom games where the team will display their City Edition uniforms, court and branding – including Cherry Blossom Theme Night on March 24
The Wizards debuted their Cherry Blossom look on November 10th, the day all NBA teams launched their City Edition uniforms and are excited to represent this look during Cherry Blossom season here in D.C., the part of the year when many descend on Washington D.C., to celebrate the iconic cherry blossom trees which cover the D.C. landscape.
Items available for sale include the Wizards Cherry Blossom jerseys, featuring Bradley Beal, Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis, Nike Cherry Blossom apparel, and many more Wizards Cherry Blossom items from a number of retail vendors. In addition, the D.C. Sports community will be represented with their respective Cherry Blossom items including the Washington Capitals, Washington Nationals and D.C. United. In addition, there will be special guest appearances at the store and unique experiences to capture the magic of the season including a mural in the store painted by artist and Wizards collaborator Chris Pyrate.
The store will be open beginning at 11 am on Wednesday, March 22nd, and will remain open through the end of each Wizards game night when the pop-up store is open.

The store is located on 7th Street NW, just north of F Street and next to the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Patrons may access the store on 7th Street during the day, and fans attending the game may also enter the store through the 1st floor concourse, near section 119. Game tickets are not required to enter the store from the 7th Street entrance, but tickets are still available and can be purchased at washingtonwizards.com.
Fans can also take advantage of a special Wizards/D.C. United ticket offer: with one $60 ticket fans can watch the Wizards take on the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, March 24th at Capital One Arena and then the next day watch D.C. United take on the New England Revolution on Saturday, March 25th at Audi Field. Both teams will be celebrating “Cherry Blossom” theme nights, infusing the spirit throughout their respective game presentations.
