The Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Suns Charities are proud to announce that Robin Milne is the new Executive Director of Phoenix Suns Charities. In her new role, Robin will oversee fundraising, grant review and host a variety of special events.
“Giving back to our community is central to the mission of the Phoenix Suns,” said Robert Sarver, Managing Partner of the Phoenix Suns. “Robin’s passion and enthusiasm for community service made her an ideal candidate and we look forward to helping even more children and families under her leadership.”
Robin has more than 20 years of experience in professional sales and is a proven leader in her field earning several performance awards and honors. In addition to her career accomplishments, Robin has been active in the community. She is co-founder of the Leadership Circle for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and is active in the Arizona State University Foundation/Women & Philanthropy and Banner Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Robin will be replacing Kathy Pidgeon, who has served as the Executive Director for the past three years. Kathy elected to step down to focus on other priorities, including her legal practice, after transforming the operations and effectiveness of the Charities these past few years.
“Kathy has been instrumental in the success of Phoenix Suns Charities,” said Brad Casper, Phoenix Suns President. “Under her leadership, the charity has reached record-breaking numbers in grants and donations, as well as touched the lives of countless members of our community.”
