Phoenix Suns Waive Archie Goodwin, Reduce Roster to 15

The Phoenix Suns waived guard Archie Goodwin on Monday.

Goodwin averaged 7.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in four appearances this preseason and 8.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 57 games in 2015-16. The 29th overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, Goodwin played each of his first three professional seasons with the Suns, averaging 6.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 150 total games.

The Suns’ roster now stands at 15 players: Leandro Barbosa, Dragan Bender, Eric Bledsoe, Devin Booker, Tyson Chandler, Marquese Chriss, Jared Dudley, John Jenkins, Derrick Jones Jr., Brandon Knight, Alex Len, P.J. Tucker, Tyler Ulis, T.J. Warren and Alan Williams.
