The Phoenix Suns announced on Tuesday they will host the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, Oct. 3 at 7:00 p.m. to tip-off a six-game preseason schedule in preparation for the club’s 49th NBA season. The Suns’ 2016 preseason schedule features three home games at Talking Stick Resort Arena and three road contests.
After opening preseason play at home versus the Spurs, the Suns then host the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, Oct. 5. The Suns then travel to Portland to face the Trail Blazers on Friday, Oct. 7, and to Salt Lake City on Wednesday, Oct. 12, to again play the Jazz. The Suns’ final home preseason game will be on Friday, Oct. 14, against the Dallas Mavericks, before closing the preseason at the Los Angeles Lakers in Anaheim on Friday, Oct. 21.
Tickets for the Suns’ three preseason home games will go on sale during the team’s regular season single-game ticket on-sale, following the release of the 2016-17 NBA regular season schedule.
