With their third first-round selection in the 2014 NBA Draft, Phoenix went overseas by selecting Bogdan Bogdanovic of Serbia.
A 6-6 guard, Bogdanovic averaged 14.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals for Partizan Belgrade, one of the elite teams in the Euroleague last season. He shot 37 percent from three-point range, where he hit over two treys per contest.
The 21-year-old prospect fits General Manager Ryan McDonough's pre-mentioned possibility of Phoenix drafting a foreign talent.
