The Phoenix Suns will host a 1993 Western Conference Champions Reunion Night presented by Fry’s Food Stores on Saturday, January 21 when the team takes on the Indiana Pacers at 7:00 p.m. at Footprint Center.

Members of the 92-93 Phoenix Suns team will be in attendance as part of the Suns’ season-long celebration of the 30th anniversary of the historic team. A special halftime ceremony will honor the team that earned the franchise and the city of Phoenix global recognition when they made it to the 1993 NBA Finals.

Prior to the start of the season, the Suns announced the return of the classic purple sunburst uniform that debuted 30 years ago and a series of 90’s Nights to celebrate one of the greatest eras of Phoenix Suns basketball.

Suns Ring of Honor member Paul Westphal coached the team to a record 62 regular season wins, a record that stood for 29 years. The Suns defeated the Seattle Supersonics to become the Western Conference Champions but ultimately fell to the Chicago Bulls in a hard-fought six-game NBA Finals series. This marked the second time the franchise made it to the Finals after its first appearance in 1976.

Eleven-time All-Star and ’93 Most Valuable Player Charles Barkley, Cedric Ceballos, Tom Chambers, Richard Dumas, Kevin Johnson, Frank Johnson, Tim Kempton, Negele Knight, Dan Majerle, Oliver Miller, Alex Stivrins and Mark West will be in attendance.

The first 5,000 fans will receive a 90’s t-shirt courtesy of Fry’s Food Stores.
