Thomas Pours in 47 at Seattle Pro-Am

Count new Suns point guard Isaiah Thomas among the NBA standouts who simply can't stay out of the gym.

"Offseason" holds limited meaning for Thomas, who had to put in extra time just to make the league as the 60th and last overall pick in the NBA Draft.

His future is more than secure, now, after averaging over 20 points per game in 2013-14 and signing a new deal with the Suns. That doesn't mean, however, that Thomas is too good to lace them up just for the heck of it.

Seattle found out firsthand in its annual Pro-Am, which draws other NBA regulars such as Jamal Crawford. The highlight-heavy hoops fest played right into Thomas' style of play, which is nothing short of crowd-pleasing. The 5-9 guard put up 47 points and a handful of crossovers and no-look passes on the opposition.
