Drake Rocks Devin Booker Suns Jersey at Phoenix Show
What a time to be a Suns fan.
At his Summer Sixteen tour stop in Phoenix on Tuesday night, NBA fanatic and rapper Drake entered to erupting cheers as he donned a Devin Booker civic pride jersey.
With "PHX" boldly written across his chest, Drake announced to the crowd, "Shout out to the Kentucky boys... repping my brother."
Booker, Tyler Ulis, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Archie Goodwin all have connections to Drake, who is a prominent figure around the Kentucky Wildcat program.
Earlier this summer, Booker and Ulis attended a Drake concert in Toronto with their college coach, John Calipari. And before that, Booker made headlines last season when he celebrated a Suns buzzer-beater with the "Hotline Bling" dance move.
"It’s in the moment, man," Booker said at the time. "Drake’s my guy. We were just in Toronto recently. He looked out for me. Drake’s a good guy. He’s like a big brother to me. I just kind of showed him some love on that."
Judging from Drake's shout out at his Phoenix concert, consider the love returned.
