Ronnie Price

Season in Review: Phoenix knew exactly what it was getting in Price: a pesky veteran guard who puts defensive pressure on teammates in practice and opponents in games. His 1.2 steals per game were best in the league among players who logged less than 20 minutes per game.

Price also provided a positive vibe in a season gone wrong, consistently staying upbeat and encouraging his teammates to do the same. It's the same formula he has used to stay in the league every season since going undrafted in 2005, quietly one of the more remarkable accomplishments in the league.

The Next Step

This was Price's second season with the Suns, but they were not back-to-back campaigns. He has his pick of teams this summer, but the former Utah Valley product made it clear that the Suns are his first choice when free agency opens. Price's willingness to accept any role, combined with his veteran example and defense, make him a viable option for any team's backcourt depth.
