PROFESSIONAL CAREER

In ten seasons with Philadelphia and New Orleans has appeared in 652 games with 579 starts, averaging 15.6 points, 6.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 33.1 minutes per game while shooting .452 from the floor, .355 from 3-point range and .784 from the line. Jrue has 99 career double-doubles (88 pt/ast, 11 pt/reb) including three triple-doubles.

BEFORE NBA

University of California, Los Angeles, 2008-09: Was an early entry candidate for the 2009 NBA Draft following his freshman season at UCLA. Played alongside senior Darren Collison in the backcourt. In 35 games (all starts), averaged 8.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals in 27.1 minutes per game. Shot 45.0% from the floor, 30.7% from 3-point range and 72.6% from the line… Earned Pac-10 All-Freshman Team Honors. Scored a career-high 20 points on a perfect 8-of-8 shooting in just 19 minutes of play vs. Florida International… Had 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds with five assists and three steals vs. Louisiana Tech. Recorded a career-high six steals vs. Cal State Northridge and five steals against USC. Had 13 points and six assists in UCLA’s one-point win over Virginia Commonwealth in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.

PERSONAL LIFE

As a senior at Campbell High School in Chatsworth, CA, averaged 25.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 4.8 steals. Team went 31-5 and won the California Division IV state title. As a freshman, helped Campbell High to a perfect 32-0 mark along with older brother Justin who went on to play at Washington, and is currently a member of the Indiana Pacers…Rated the No. 1 point guard and the No. 2 overall prospect in the Class of 2008 by Rivals.com. Named the 2008 Gatorade National Player of the Year and a Parade Magazine First Team All-America. Was the manager for the Girl’s Tennis Team in high school. His wife, Lauren, is a retired professional soccer player and a former member of the United States Women’s National Soccer Team, winning gold medals at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, and the 2015 Women’s World Cup. Younger sister, Lauren, also played basketball at UCLA. Younger brother, Aaron, is a guard for the Indiana Pacers. Donated nearly 3,000 Pelicans tickets to underprivileged children during 2017-18 season. Spent a day at the Audubon Zoo with local New Orleans children. Joined Boys and Girls Club of New Orleans for a holiday party at the Pelicans training facility.
