Full name is Jaden Edward Dhananjay Ivey…Son of Niele Ivey and Javin Hunter…Mother, Niele, is the head women’s basketball coach at Notre Dame University (since 2020) after serving one year as an assistant coach with the Memphis Grizzlies…Niele was an All-American basketball player at Notre Dame and played five seasons in the WNBA for Indiana, Detroit and Phoenix…Father was a sixth-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens as a WR in the 2002 NFL Draft…Grandfather, James Hunter, played seven seasons in the NFL as a defensive back with the Detroit Lions…Competed for Team USA in the FIBA U19 World Cup in Latvia…Averaged 12.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.7 blocks in just 16.5 minutes, leading the Americans to the Gold medal…Ranked second on the team in scoring…Led the team in scoring in the Gold-medal game against France, sparking a second-half rally after trailing by eight midway through the third quarter, scoring 16 total points…Was named to the FIBA U19 All-Star 5 Team.
