COLLEGE (Texas Tech, 2019-20): As a freshman, Ramsey led the Red Raiders and was fifth
in the Big 12 by scoring 15.0 points per game in a season where he became the first player in
program history to earn Big 12 Freshman of the Year to go along with being selected to the All-
Big 12 Second Team, All-Big 12 Freshman Team and All-Big 12 Newcomer Team … He finished the season shooting 42.6 percent which ranked
second in the conference and was 10th in the Big 12 with 1.33 steals per game ... He finished the conference season averaging 14.5 points per
game … Ramsey started all 27 games he played in during the 31-game season and scored 20 or more points in seven games and in double
figures in 21 games … Top Single-Game Performances: Ramsey scored a career-high 27 points in a non-conference game against Long Island
and Big 12 high of 26 points at Kansas… In both games he made five 3-pointers to go along with five 3-pointers in games against Baylor and
West Virginia… Along with his career-high performances against LIU and Kansas, he also had a 25 point game against Houston Baptist, went
for 20 against CSU Bakersfield and Baylor , scored 21 in a home win over West Virginia and dropped 25 points in a road victory at Iowa State
where he made a career-best 11 field goals with two 3-pointers… Ramsey completed the season shooting 44.2 percent from the field with 12
games shooting 50 percent or higher… He was 6-for-7 from the field with two 3-pointers in an 18-point performance at Texas and went 10-for-
13 with three 3-pointers against HBU… Along with his scoring prowess, Ramsey finished the season with 60 assists with a career-high seven
assists in his 25-point performance at Iowa State and had six assists against Texas at home… Ramsey was a three-time Big 12 Newcomer of the
Week selection who finished the season averaging 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game… By leading the team in scoring in his first season,
Ramsey became only the third freshman in program history to top the team in points per game.

SportsDay Player of the Year, Allen Iverson Classic All-American and Jordan Brand All-American… Earned MVP at Ball is Life All-America
game… Ramsey earned a 5-Star Rating and No. 12 national recruit by Rivals making him the first-ever 5-Star recruit at Texas Tech… Was
a 4-Star recruit by ESPN and 247Sports… Averaged 21 points and 6 rebounds per game during his senior season where his team won 25
straight games to that culminated in the state title…. Played for head coach David Peavy at Duncanville… Scored the go-ahead basket in the
championship game with 1:12 remaining to lift Duncanville to a 73-69 victory… He finished the state title game with 19 points, nine rebounds
and four assists in the final game of his high school career… Played AAU for Drive Nation.
