Played for the USA Junior National Select Team in the 2018 Nike Hoop Summit. Finished with 11 points and seven rebounds in the 2018 McDonald’s All-American game. Totaled 12 points and nine rebounds in the 2018 Jordan Brand Classic. Ultimately decided to spend the 2018-19 season training for the 2019 NBA Draft. Spent three months in 2019 interning with New Balance after signing an endorsement deal with the brand in late 2018.

As a senior at Princeton High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, appeared in 25 games and averaged 15.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest, shooting 51.5 percent from the field. Led his team to a 23-4 season. Selected to the Ohio Division I All-State First Team and All-Ohio First Team by USA TODAY. Ranked as the ninth-best prospect in the 2018 recruiting class by ESPN.

Favorite movie is “Green Book” and favorite TV show is “Martin.” Enjoys listening to Earth, Wind & Fire. His favorite sports team outside of the NBA is the Houston Texans. His favorite pregame song is Sweet Love by Anita Baker. Enjoys watching HGTV and considers interior decorating his hidden talent.
