The Indianapolis Colts have advanced to the AFC Championship Game, and the Pacers are doing everything they can to show their support for their downtown neighbors as they prepare to take on the New England Patriots on Sunday with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

At Tuesday night's Pacers game, fans had the opportunity to sign a giant "Good Luck Colts" banner that will hang outside Bankers Life Fieldhouse this week.

Following Wednesday's practice, Pacers players and coaches signed the banner before it goes up on Pennsylvania Street on Thursday morning.

Several Colts players make regular appearances at Pacers games. Pat McAfee, Robert Mathis, Reggie Wayne, Matt Overton, and Dwayne Allen all have been known to frequent The Fieldhouse and several Pacers players return the favor, heading over Lucas Oil Stadium to take in a game when their schedule permits. They're certainly rooting for their fellow hometown athletes this Sunday.

Pacers center Roy Hibbert wrote "Win, baby, win!" on the banner, while Pacers head coach Frank Vogel gave a special shoutout to Colts coach Chuck Pagano and kicker Adam Vinatieri in video package shot for Pacers.com.

Damjan Rudez didn't know much about American football growing up in Croatia, but even he has embraced the hometown team after spending the last few months in Indiana. Rudez said Josh Corbeil, the Pacers' Senior Director Medical Operations/Head Athletic Trainer, has been especially helpful in educating Rudez on the rules and history of the game. Rudez went to see the Colts play the Patriots earlier this season and raved about the experience.

"It was a great atmosphere and I really loved the stadium," Rudez said. "Hopefully the Colts do well. We're cheering for them."
