Pacers, Abrams Academic Achievement Awards

For the 15th consecutive season, the Indiana Pacers, in partnership with Pacers team ophthalmologist Dr. John Abrams will present the Abrams Academic Achievement Awards this evening at the Pacers vs. New York Knicks game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Abrams Academic Achievement Awards were established to recognize area elementary and/or middle-school students for their academic and leadership performance in school.

This year the Indiana Pacers and Dr. Abrams selected seven area middle and elementary schools in which to partner for this program, and from those schools, one 6th – 8th grade student was selected to receive the award. This year’s partnering schools were Frankfort Middle School, Hasten Hebrew Academy, Robey Elementary, Fall Creek Valley Middle School, Tindley Collegiate Academy, Tindley Preparatory Academy, and Westlane Middle School.

Congratulations to the following Middle School students who will receive this year’s Abrams Academic Achievement Awards. All of the students received four suite tickets to tonight’s game. In addition, these students will be recognized during a halftime on-court ceremony. Each student will also receive a Laptop Computer, courtesy of Dr. Abrams, a Certificate of Achievement and Pacers goodie bag.
