On Wednesday night, it was announced that Paul George will grace the cover of the NBA 2K17 Standard Edition. It was already known that Kobe Bryant, who George looked up to growing up, would be on the Legend Edition, and rumors swirled as early as Tuesday that it would be PG on the cover of the Standard Edition.
At the NBA 2K16 Road to the Finals, a competition for elite 2K players, the popular video game franchise made the news official, unveiling the Standard Edition cover featuring Paul George. The game is due out in September.
George makes sense on the cover, himself being an avid 2K gamer, frequently posting pictures of him competing with friends in the game on his Instagram account.
