PRIOR TO VCU
- Named Boys Player of the Year by the Toledo Blade three times, matching former Ohio State star William Buford; Led St. John’s Jesuit to a 90-17 record, including 54-2 in conference play, during his high school career
- Selected First Team All-Ohio as a junior and senior and Second Team All-Ohio as a sophomore; Named All-Northwest District three times, as well as District and TRAC Player of the Year twice
- Provided 19.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 62 percent from the field and 75 percent from the line for the Titans as a senior; Led St. John’s Jesuit to a 23-4 mark and a Division I regional final appearance
